| Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. They examine patients, make diagnosis and plan care (Nurse Practitioners can also prescribe certain products). They are experts in many areas of disease management such as diabetes and asthma. They can also offer advice about general health, travel immunisations, disease prevention and health promotion as well as maintaining their traditional treatment room duties, such as injections, dressings, ear syringing, blood pressure measurement, weight checks and dietary advice, and also take cervical smears. They can offer advice by telephone if necessary. |
